What do you think about that ? |

Please don't fill the archive with useless things like this. |
It's ugly, and useless... |
I completley agree with Alvin. |
god i just wasted 5 seconds of my life. |
Horrible. What did you use? MS Paint? The GP2X image is pooly cut out from the original image. |
hmm... it's not exactly skillfully crafted or enormously pretty but I think it's a cool idea. Don't listen to the idiots above... they haven't even contributed anything to the scene themselves. This can be considered homebrew gp2x art ;-) so, yeah, it belongs into the archive and it's not a waste of time! |

... You can see the camera in the reflection of the screen. Not good photography practice. Maybe I should try to do a few so long as I don't get flamed for it. lol! |

Wow. People really get worked up over a picture. I like it, I don't know any use for it but I like it. |
Yes this is a truly shameful example of what happens when some complete amateur plays around in an art program and thinks textured, bevelled text in an arch over a dodgy photo are what the world needs. The world doesn't need this it was doing just fine without. As for exxentrix and his check-me-out-i'm-different stance: save it! People *do* get worked up and rightly so this talentless picture is a blemish in an archive otherwise full of accomplished work. God, my mother could do better in paint on Windows 98 yet you like it? You should come and check out what I produce in the toilet after a Chicken Vindaloo you'd probably like that too. |

hey spen83! Let's see your great accomplishments for the scene! Have you coded anything, painted anything, been doing JACK SHIT? If not than shut your ignorant trap and stop being an asshole to somebody who is just contributing a picture you asswhipe... try to be nice and do constructive criticism! This is why the gp2x scene begins to suck so much because there are so many arrogant pricks like you in it. |
OK, firstly, to whoever was complaining about seeing the camera in the photo - it's not his photo. It's a GPH one I think. Secondly, I know it's not all that good, but try and give some constructive criticism rather than just saying ZOMG LOL THIS SUCKS. To the poster: Try using different text for this, and maybe get a better image of the GP2X. |
Very cool! Maybe some more versions with different colors? |
Nopasaran - have I coded anything or painted anything - yes and they were both vastly superior to this.
Also, if you want to come on here mouthing off like a big man I suggest you reserve a lot of time and patience for a big war because I've got infinite energy when it comes to banging pricks like you to rights. Anyway you seem so hurt and upset about a little bit of criticism I think you are the guy who made it under another alias. Your artwork is shit man, give up and leave it to people who know what they are doing like myself. |
Nickspoon said try changing the text and picture for this. Yeah I agree, try changing the text to "I can't draw and my artistic endeavours are an abonimation I should be deeply ashamed of" and try changing the picture to one of a guy with a paintbrush stuck up his ass. |

Some of the comments are really embrassing. I really want a user filter around here. Some guys too often miss the tone. Being unable to express criticism without sarcasm or unproper language... have those peaple anything to say that's worth listening to? Guess not. The Pic is not the greatest work in the world, but also nothing that should provoke a flamewar. Go on Julien! |
Julien, Well Done! I dont own a GP2X yet - but will do next month! I have contributed to this community, with "GPQuake" an easier to use version of the Quake 1 program, because I discovered not everyone understood its operation! |
I want a TinMan filter so I can filter out any guy who comes along trying to censor the critics.
I think it's wrong to silence decent people who care enough and love the community so much that they will protect it's reputation at all cost by expressing disdain for low quality work through sarcasm or otherwise. It's as simple as that. If you don't like my criticisms TinMan don't read them. I don't use the comment box to try and make buddies around here, I use it to make honest, considered criticism. Clearly as the old adage says, the truth hurts.
And Julien, please understand, when m1rkd1rk tells you "Well done" he means it in the same way I mean it when my 2 year old draws a big scribble on a sheet of paper then says "That's you Daddy". So yeah, well done Julien clever boy. Are you going to draw another nice picture for Daddy? ;) |

his eyes are shaped like T's! eheheh. oh. |

The problem is not the critcism, it's the tone. You and others are often getting personal, not just stating that the work/comment or what ever is bad but hurting the author on purpose. And btw.: I do not want to censor anything. Censorship is wrong. The niveau of some statements is just so low-level it hurts, much more than "the"/"your" truth. |
Whether something is good or bad, people should have the decency to show respect for the time and effort someone has put into his/her work. The people burdening this community are the ones who only contribute criticism. |
Don't like it, That's all I have to say :) |

Wow, that is one farking ugly picture. I registered to these ghey forums just to add that. Dude learn a little about not having the camera reflect in the object you are photographing, and you might want to actually *clean* the thing you are taking a pic \ture of, instead of leaving it all dirty and dusty and covered with smudges....Gawd! I'm not even gonna go into the infantile graphics level. Thanks for sharing but you might want to practice for a few more years before you spew your load in public, chum. |
