| I'm one of the admins/developers of the vice emulator and I've recently compiled the sdl ui version of vice for dingux, which I will be posting here during the weekend.
I could be of assistance with getting the source cleaned up and getting your version into the official vice, and even make you the official dingux vice port maintainer with access to the svn, you can contact me if you're interested
