2/1/2009 I haven't had any luck getting this to work yet. I followed the instructions..installed my original TFTD CD in Dosbox..copied the installation files into the installation directory, and copied the whole thing back to my SD card, but no dice. It just goes to a black screen when I run it. I'm running an F100 Mk2 with FW 4.0.1. Is there a patch for TFTD that I was supposed to install (like in Xcom 1)? I didn't see anything like that in the docs.

2/3/2009 Thanks for the tip. When I get some time I'm going to try a "from the ground-up" reinstall first to see if something got inadvertantly corrupted with all of the copying back and forth of the files. If that doesn't work I'll try the patch.

2/9/2009 - I finally got around to re-installing and trying some different things to get this working, including installing the patch that you gave the link to above. I completely blew away the directory and re-installed TFTD in Dosbox twice, once with the files as they were and once with the patch. Unfortunately, nothing helped. My F100 still has exactly the same symptoms that I described above. It still just goes to an everlasting black screen, and the only way out is a power-cycle. It's interesting that Xcom works perfectly fine on the same machine and is very stable. Have many other people gotten this installed and working? If you have, what model of GP2X and firmware are you running?

When tftd CD version installs it does not copy all files to the drive. Try copying the remaining files from the cd.
