A GP2X conversion of Quirky's GBA port of the Spectrum version of Chaos. (Phew)!
The gameplay should be very similar to the original Spectrum version because a lot of the code was based on Spectrum disassemblies.

| I LOVE this little conversion by Quirky but I'm not sure why you would create this version. You can play this with a gameboy advance emulator already. AND that version has sound unlike this one. Also, this version crashes whenever you push the volume control. I can't really recommend this version. |

| Okay, maybe I need to clarify - the Vol+/Vol- buttons QUIT the game (deliberately, because they're the only unused keys). In fact, it's the only way to get out of the game but sometimes takes a few seconds because the game finishes what it was doing first.
And the sound does work but it's a little finicky and sometimes turns off if the game is quit in the middle of playing a sound. However, I'm working on a fix.
As to why - I don't have any Gameboy Advance emulators loaded and this is a native ARM port - rather than the GP2X emulating a GBA which is running Chaos, this is Chaos running directly on the GP2X - less resources (CPU, RAM, disk space), more battery life and no need for a seperate program. I don't care about GBA but I used to have a Spectrum, hence I ported this version directly. |

| I havent heard any sound effects from this version at all. I tried it on 2 different GP2Xs and still no sound. No volume control either unlike Quirky's which has both. I like the idea of your version but since it lacks features that Quirky's has, I don't use it.
I don't care for GBA either but on a GP2X playing Atari ST or Spectrum Chaos is very awkward because of lack of keyboard. You ought to have ported the Spectrum original and added GP2X compatible controls. |

| OH YES. This is my favourite computer game ever and ranks up there with parardroid and Battlecars. Thank you so much Quirky. This runs fine on my F200[b] with firm ware v4.0. sound and everything is good. Could you do a version of Battlecars and Lazersquad too please - that would make my decade
