| What bugs me is that there was all this hype about the Wiz going to have an "app store" (funGP) and the wifi adapter etc etc etc, and suddenly now the Wiz halts production and a bigger, "better" system is on the way to crush it's predecessor. Even this new documentation mentions FunGP. I guess that's the way technology works, but I've not even had my Wiz for a year and they're going to phase it out already? It's a great machine. Sure it has its flaws like any console or handheld, but they could have at least let it settle into the fanbase a little longer so developers don't jump to other platforms and leave the Wiz in the dust. Am I the only one who thinks they need to stop just spitting out handhelds and stick with something? How long was the GP32 out before GP2X was introduced? Okay I'll step down off the soap box now, but I don't feel the need to shell out money every time GPH makes something new. Even if the emulators don't get updated (often) after this release, I'm sticking with Wiz. |
