It runs fast. I had the floppy version. But how can i mark more than one person? And is it possible to port: Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Hexen, System Shock, Tomb Raider 1 and 2? |
excellent port ! I'd only expect for next release fully customizable controls. I'd like to use the left D-pad as command buttons instead of the right D-pad (I'm not a lefty, so I hold the stylus in my right hand :p )
@ kasumi89 : you can set the "shift" command in warcraft.cfg to select up to 4 units. |

This runs great, thanks! It's a little hard to control, but that's not the wiz, that's warcraft 1, I had forgotten how much they improved the controls in 2 and 3... that's not to say this isn't one of the best games of all time though! |

I just use the touch screen with mine and it works great I love playing this. |
This seems to run at full speed compared to the GP2X which ran probably at half speed.
Kasumi89: Drag a box around up to 4 men. |

Hahaha this works great. Okay, for people having issues, it's relatively simple to install everything. Install dosbox, make a folder (for instance, C:\dosgames) and put your warcraft installer into it, then run dosbox. type in "mount C "C:\dosgames"" (without the quotes at the beginning and end like I did.)
Now just type "C:" without quotes, and you are now browsing drive C (dosgames) in dosbox. type the name of the setup program you put in the dosgames folder. For me it was simply "setup.exe" - follow the on-screen instructions and DosBox will install Warcraft. Now you're done with the hard part. Go into your dosgames folder and just put everything from that folder into the Warcraft folder on your SD card you downloaded from here. Assuming you have the CD version which you installed from, go inside the "CD" folder inside "warcraft-beta3-wiz" on your SD card, and put SR-War.exe in the "warcraft-beta3-wiz" folder. Now you're good to go! Just put the SD card in the Wiz, and run Warcraft.gpe. |
