Wow, i was wondering if i was going to have to be the one to write this kindof program... I reinstalled linux for nothing :) well ok so i installed it for a different reason. Can't live without it. *is lazy* :) And BTW, The fact that its automatically put as the default gmenu2x file browser is PURELY AWESOME. |

Oops, meant to say something else... perhaps you should add a file extension checker and maybe make sure that a file is an executable (using its header) before executing it? Automatically launching the correct viewer along with file extension checking would make this the best file browser ever. |

This is great the inbuilt one just has the bare basics. With this one I can do almost anything. |

I've just bought a GP2X. I have found the default GUI as simple and featureless as you could possibly design. I imagine GPH are hoping somebody would make them (for free) a usable PDA like GUI, QTopia for example. I saw your enexfi program and it is interesting and useful although I have found some bugs after using it for just a few minutes.
Bug 1
I edited the ini file to gain access to the root folder because I wanted to see what binaries the GP2X ships with. So I scrolled down to bin and pressed A and had a quick look inside the folder. I then went back to the top and selected .. and it didn't take me back to /. A second press did, and this happens in all folders off of /. At the bottom of the screen you show the current folder. What is happening is that going from /bin/ to / you show '/bin/' and then '/bin'. This doesn't happen on the SD card though.
Bug 2
I decided to take a look in mnt and then nand and then back to mnt. At the bottom of the screen it shows '/mnt/'. Select .. once only and then it shows '/mnt' which is the bug I detailed above. Then select nand. You will end up in no man's land with nothing to select, trapping you. You have to quit and restart it.
Bug 3
After navigating root and its subfolders I decided to go to /mnt/sd/. Once there I couldn't then go back, trapping me.
