Sweet, gnu chess is a good chess engine. This games graphics remind me of a tandy game i played on an emulator a few days ago in linux.

genesis and snes chess games are better and more fun, improve the graphic, 4 now, battle chess rulez. And yes, add mp3 playback :-)

Yep, it's a bit rough round the edges at the moment. I was thinking of move sound but I should have guessed about playing mp3s - it should be obligatory for all software :)

First, thanks for this port! There is a bug in v0.1 with taking out pieces en passant: although it works correctly the piece optically doesn�t disappear from the board.

Ok, another thing for v0.2 along with skin selector and mp3 playback (maybe)

MMmmm....Yes ok apart from the en-pass,and Oh when playing BLACK I like the pieces at the BOTTOM of the board so can't really play as black.Enyway I'LL give you 6/10 on this one,keep at though better next time A?

Tis a great chess game. Doesn't anyone think that maybe there should be a "background" MP3 player on the GP2X which allows your music to continue playing whilst you're playing a game?

Im a little confused on how to download gnu chess, it takes me to all these files and i dont know what to download and i just get lost

Has this got multiplayer and tv-out ? If not it should be added !!

There is a 2 player mode. I've no idea if it works with tv-out, I intended to get a cradle (when I've got enough donations to pay for it :))

Good port, Parky. I have only one thing to suggest, and that is that the cursor will continue moving if you hold down a directional a bit. Movement is a little tedious.

Hi, I just found a bug: you are not able to capture a piece with a pawn on the back rank. Therefore it is not possible to convert it to a different piece. I hope this will be fixed, regards, Ghanji
