| works, but is much slower than the GP2X version. Likely needs optimization for the Wiz. |

| Emulator well made, but too slow!!! I can't believe that an ARM926 at 533 MHz (Wiz CPU Core) fails to emulate a 100% speed of an old Commodore 64 hardware!!! I think it needs a code optimization... |

| Not sure what's happening here. 2.2 doesn't work for me at all. It won't load D64 or any other files, keeps saying "file not found." Can view the directory but won't load anything. Also performs really slowly. Had to revert to 2.1e |

| This is a huge improvement over the last version.
If you're having "file not found" problems, it probably has to do with zip compression. Probably because of the way Vice 2.2 creates a virtual d64 image and pushes prg files into it when you run them, it looks like it's trying to do that with zip files too. There are two ways around this, first, when you select your a zipped d64 or t64, make sure to select "unzip archive" before you play it. The (IMO simpler) alternative is to simply leave all of your images unzipped. I know percentage-wise this wastes a bunch of space, but if you have a 16GB SDHC card like I do (or larger) it's really insignificant. I have everything unzipped and still have more space than I know what to do with.
If you're having performance issues, make sure that you're only using full 1541 emulation when you have to. In most cases where you actually need it (which shouldn't be that often), you can just enable it during load, then when the game is done loading go into the menu and turn it off. This will give you a HUGE performance increase.
I've actually been able to run Beyond Castle Wolfenstein on this version with full speech working at 100% with no overclocking. That's pretty impressive. |

| It seems that the load individual files through the Browse D64 function space fills the names of the programs and this causes a problem. I was able to load individual programs this way:
1) Select program from Browse D64 menu. You will get "File Not Found Error."
2) Type Home
3) Use down and right arrows to get to the last double quote in the file name. Right before the ,8,1
4) Type Delete and remove all the spaces between the end of the file name and the double quote. Hit Return.
5) After it loads type RUN and Return.
Notes:
I was unable to figure out if it's possible to type ShiftLock to be able to type double quotes or the other two cursor keys.
Warp mode will disable sound. It tends to turn itself back on too.
Turn off true drive emulation.
Autostart image seems to work fine. |

| Not sure what's up with this emu. Bad porting, I assume. Frodo has it beaten to a PULP. |
