Works well on my Wiz. One thing to note: doom.wad has to be renamed to doom1.wad or that version of the game won't run. No music played, even though I do have timidity installed. Does timidity go in the root of the SD card, or the root of the NAND?

In this case the timidy folder needs to be in the prboom file as a plain folder only. I have a timidity config file and instruments file, it works!! Carnt get plutonia to work tho...

Fix for Plutonia is to edit the Plutonia.gpe file and change first line from "#!/bin/bash" to "#!/bin/sh", then it will run.

mmh... I'm still not a Linux user, but after looking some code, and researching over the Internet I've found what timidity is. Correct me if I'm am wrong: basically it is a simple line where do you get all the MIDI's from the folder that is instruments? All .pat files, are the sound files for every game or I do have to get a different version of timidity if I get another game? And I'm not having trouble with sound, does this game comes only with SFX sounds or music, as well? Thanks, Greets

It runs great only thing i hate is that the saves all at the same directory. And i wish that the Counterstrike 2.5 mod come to wiz.

to fix the music problem put the timidity folder at the root of your sd, and take the config file and put in the doom file. then edit the config file (only the one in the doom folder not in the timitidy folder) with notepad ++ and change the first line to say dir/mnt/sd/timidity/

Copy timidity.cfg into the prboom folder and add the following line first in the file dir /mnt/sd/timidity/ (Important there must be a space after dir!)

This works perfectly, but on exit it doesn't terminate the process and the .gpe is shown still running. It eats up quite a lot of resources: 3 instances of prboom running at the same time slowed everything down, a lot.
