This is a hack by notaz to fix the broken touchscreen with homebrew games from FW 4.0.2 and later.
This package includes an installer and uninstaller.
As a drawback, it disables touchscreen support in the official menu. |

Great job!!
works with almost all games i've installed! (exult, defendyourcolony, poker...)
except for scummvm, this one doesn't support mouse pointer anymore! :/ |

but, what seems to be the problem with the original touchscreen support? it wasn't very hard for me to test it with a simple sdl application (without this homebrew enabler) and it worked very well. i didn't take a look at the source of these problematic touchscreen games (apparently all of them), but there is a demo here on the archives that shows the right way to do it by polling the touchscreen device.. i will upload my touchscreen application with sources as soon as i find some free time. |
