Unfortunately there is a problem with virtual keyboard input: something very odd is happening. To select any of the keys from one of the key pages, you have to use the joystick to move to a key and then press the A button. The trouble is when moving the joystick with the virtual keyboard on-screen, it activates keys when it shouldn't. Joyright for example places the cursor into graphics mode, joyup activates ENTER and joyleft activates DELETE. In other words, the joystick has not been isolated when the virtual keyboard is on-screen.
I think the virtual keyboard is a bad implementation. Having to navigate multiple pages of giant keys is long-winded and tiresome. Perhaps the developer wanted to retain the individual key legends by making them big, but it is actually possible to show a ZX81 complete keyboard on less than a 320 width screen. Below are some gifs of a ZX81 virtual keyboard within a 320 width screen, the first I found on the net, the second I started to draw myself to see if a more realistic ZX81 keyboard would fit :-

The ironic thing is that if any machines lent themselves well to virtual keyboards it's Sinclair's.
