Raygun can't always be used. Sometimes shooting works but sometimes it doesn't. |

Game play is not true to the original. Pogo stick behaves quite differently. |

Perhaps you could help me out and suggest how the pogo is different? I have fixed the game up in several ways since the original to make the AIs and such more true to the original, and thought the feel of jumping/pogoing was nearly the same, but if you have a suggestion for improvement do tell :) |

Ack, the first time I said original I meant the standard CloneKeen, and the second I meant the original game in DosBox :P |

Grrr...i just wanted to play keen...but since it needs the origanal files and i wont be able to find the cd for it in any store cuz its so old...im screwed. |

gasmask88: The README states that you can use the shareware version (ftp://ftp.3drealms.com/share/1keen.zip) which I am currently playing.

I haven't yet noticed anything wrong with the pogo stick implementation as mentioned above in a previous post.
The volume seems to be a little low. The GP2X volume buttons work but it doesn't go very loud.
Why does it need a frameskip?
There's no decrement button in options. You can only increment values until they wrap around.
The GP2X LTrigger is used for ESC. ESC can be used to exit menus, return to the title screen or quit to the gp2xmenu. If you attempt to continue a game when you haven't saved yet there is only one way out of the menu and that is by pressing ESC, except it dumps you back to the gp2xmenu instead of the title screen.
The game though works a treat and is a welcome addition to GP2X gaming. Many thanks for porting it.
