This is a port of Super Transball 2, written by Santi Ontañón, https://www.braingames.getput.com/stransball2.

"Super Transbal 2" is the sequel of "Transball" and "Transball 2", Inspired in THRUST type of games (and concretely in ZARA THRUSTA for the Amiga 500). In each level of Transball, the goal is to find the SPHERE, capture it and carry it to the upper part of the level. The main obstacle is the gravity, that impulses you towards the ground. But many other obstacles, canons, tanks, doors, etc. will try to make difficult your journey...

The ZIP files contains GP2X and a windows version.

Great game, playing the Windows version now until I get my GP2x... :) It's a pretty tough game, though, and it's too bad that the spheres don't have any influence on your ship's movements. But still a very great game.

Looking at the latest Linux Games news I noticed an item about Brain Games er... games :) Listed were Goonies, Road Fighter, Nether Earth and Super Transball 2. Obviously I found the latter here but Road Fighter looks portable too if anybody's interested.

As for Super Transball 2, I haven't played the desktop version but the GP2X version is fun. There are some issues such as 'Instructions' not functioning and the logo fading being tediously slow, but other than that it's great. It took me a while to understand what I'm supposed to be doing because the GP2X docs are rather bare. I recommend people visit the official site for some basic info.

In-Game Keys (which I had to figure out for myself!)

A - Fire, also used as accept to skip through messages
X - Thrust
Y - Quit current level
R - 'Attract' the silver sphere and take it to the top of the map
