- 20 Mb of storage RAM (flash or internal) for game files

------------
Installation
------------

It is recommended to uninstall any previous version of the game before installing the new one. If you used Card Installer with a previous version to move resource files to external memory card, you need to use that utility again to remove all of the files.

You can install application PRC and resource PDB files to either handheld or external card.

For the game to work correctly with Tungsten T3, you may also need to install Dynamic Input Area compatibility PRCs (distributed by palmOne).

------------
Known Issues
------------

There is no music in the game, and sound effects are very limited.

Some in-game texts were assembled in a haste, and many grammar/spelling errors are expected. We kindly ask you to help us fix those (just leave a comment on the website boards).

How to Play
-----------

1. Start a new game. On the Start New Game screen, pick a race and speciality for your Master character, and select an appropriate model. Then choose an apprentice character you want to play along with through the entire game. Check the Tutorial box if you want additional help at the beginning. Tap Start.

2. Your Master character appears in a room of his own house. Wait a little bit, and an apprentice will show up. He will approach you and ask if you'd like to take him as a trainee. Say yes, and he will join your party.

3. Examine your Master and apprentice characters. To switch between characters, tap the corresponding portraits at the top of the screen. Tapping an already selected character toggles this characters' detail view. Once the detail view is open, switch between Status, Affects, Inventory, Equipment, and Skills pages to see what information is available.

4. On the Status page, spend your trainings by pressing the plus button next to the corresponding stats, which will rise accordingly. You need to do this for all characters in your party. The number of trainings is limited, so make sure to use them wisely. In the future, additional trainings become available, so please check the Status page regularly.

5. On the Skills page, spend your practices by selecting the desired skill, and pressing the plus button next to the description of the skill. Please note that unless you practice your skills, they remain highly inefficient. Additional practices become available with time.

6. Make sure to examine what skills are available. Some skills can be used immediately (such as Rest), other are usually used in battles (such as Punch). To use a skill, double-tap the corresponding icon. You may also want to drag some of frequently used skills to the shortcut bar at the bottom of the screen.

7. The basic controls are as follows. Make sure the character you want to control is selected, then tap a floor cell to move to the designated position, or tap an object or character to perform interaction. Try moving around the house a little. Note that walls become transparent when the character you control is about to be obscured. You can also rotate the view by pressing arrows next to the compass.

8. Apprentice character will always follow your Master character unless you choose to control the apprentice character directly. Controlling your apprentice is not very common, but sometimes it can be useful (e.g. in case the Master was taken out in battle).

9. Exit the house by moving towards the exit and eventually tapping the exit door. Note that you need to control the Master character if you want to leave the area. OK, you're at the street now. Head west, and explore the town a little by entering nearby buildings and talking to traders.

10. You can trade items with traders. Please be aware that traders sell items at a higher price so that you will lose money if you try to sell a newly bought item. It is a good idea to buy a few health potions before you go to a journey. You can also buy a better equipment and some useful scrolls.

11. Leave the town following one of the roads available. Outside the town, various creatures will attack you when you pass nearby. When it happens, the game will automatically pause, and you will be given a chance to pick an appropriate skill to strike your enemy with. To use a skill, either open your characters' detail view, select the Skills page, and double-tap the skill you want to use, or double-tap a skill icon on the shortcut bar. You can also just tap an enemy to apply the selected skill, if you have the required skill selected in the shortcut bar.

12. The apprentice will also join the battle and will behave on his own will. Controlling his actions during the battle is generally a bad idea (unless the Master is taken out). However, you can still make the apprentice use items from his own inventory, e.g. drink potions to restore health.

13. Apprentice character gains knowledge during battles, and becomes a better fighter. At the very beginning, his knowledge is almost zero, so don't be surprised at his sometimes really dumb actions. If the battle is going bad, you can always escape by pressing the corresponding button at the top of the screen, but you will loose some time.

14. If you are victorious, you will gain some experience points, and may even get a level. Leveling up gives additional trainings and practices, and opens additional skills. Sometimes you can also grab what's left of your enemy, including his belongings and maybe even his corpse (which you can try to resurrect later on, or make a trophy or rune out of it).

15. The ultimate goal is training your apprentice to the level he is able to win the tournament. You will find the tournament Arena near your home, this is where battles are held. Remember that the custom-made artificiat intelligence of your apprentice is at the heart of this game, so please go ahead and experiment with it.

16. You can save the game progress by tapping the floppy icon at the bottom right of the screen. Only one game can be saved at a time.
