ZodSCUMM
--------

This is a port of ScummVM 0.5.1 for the Tapwave Zodiac.

Ported for the Tapwave Zodiac by Fangorn.

Please read the README_scummvm.txt for general information on using ScummVM.

The following games are not currently supported in ZodSCUMM:
* The Dig
* Full Throttle
* Simon the Sorceror
* Beneath a Steel Sky

I haven't tested all the games so don't know which others do not work
properly, but the major Lucasarts titles work fine.

Game sound files (both uncompressed and MP3 compressed are supported) are
fully supported.

INSTALLING
----------

Hotsync the "ZodSCUMM-Installer.prc" file to install it. This will then
install ZodSCUMM on the Tapwave and create the necessary directories on the SD
card, plus it installs a starter SCUMMVM.INI file (it doesn't overwrite one if
it already exists).

You need to put the games onto the SD card into:
/PALM/Programs/ScummVM/Games/ (Put each game in its own subdirectory)

Any sound files (.SOU, .SO3, .MP3) also go into the relevant game subdirectory.

You can add/remove/edit games in the SCUMMVM Launcher and these changes are
automatically written to the SCUMMVM.INI file. On a new install the
SCUMMVM.INI contains a few entries for games, you'll need to edit/delete these
depending on which games you have.

ZodSCUMM will coexist with the official PalmOS port of ScummVM. For compatibility
reasons ZodSCUMM's save files go into the ZSave subdirectory.

USING IT AND CONTROLS
---------------------

You can follow the standard ScummVM README for information on this.

The ZodSCUMM controls are as follows:
* Tapping the screen simulates a mouse click.
* Double tapping the screen simulates a double tap.
* The analogue control moves the mouse around
* Analogue Select - simulates the 'Enter' key.
* Action Red - simulates the '.' key, i.e. skips dialogue
* Action Green - simulates the left mouse button
* Action Blue - simulates the 'Escape' key, i.e. skips scenes and exits the
  popup window.
* Action Green - simulates the right mouse button.
* Function - brings up the popup save/load window
* Right Trigger - Quick save.
* Left Trigger - simulates the '1' key, useful for entering something for the
  copy protection and putting something into the save name.
* Launch/Home Key - Nothing. To quit use the SCUMM popup window (Function key)
* Power Key - Nothing. Powering off the Tapwave would currently mess up ZodSCUMM.

NOTE: When using the popup window for saving, press the save button, select a
slot press the 'Action Red' key to put something into the name and press the
Analogue Select to save. To load a slot double tap the slot

THANKS
------

Thankyou to the Tapwave staff (who are sadly no more) for bringing us this
excellent, but overlooked, PDA.

Thanks to the ScummVM developers who have kept these wonderful adventure
games alive.

Thanks to the GP32 developer of the ScummVM versions whose code I borrowed in
writing this port. This port is based on the SDL code. It has no relationship
to the official PalmOS port.

You should be able to find me hanging around Emuboards -
http://www.emuboards.com/invision/ where you can report bugs.
