GNU Chess was written in 1986 by Stuart Cracraft,
who is continuing to develop it with other coders.
It comes with an interface to the X window system to
display a pretty chessboard. It also has an opening
book which is being added to all the time.

(see http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/chess/)

DINGUX Gnu Chess is a port on DINGUX of the
version 5.7 of GNU-Chess with my WIZ port UI.
