A Pandora port of the popular roguelike.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The 0.8 version of Crawl requires an 11-point terminal font. Before running, open a terminal, right-click, choose preferences, and change the font size under the appearance tab. Monospace 11 is recommended, but you can experiment with other fonts as well. This setting is saved on your Pandora, so you only have to do this once.
Please note that the game will take a few seconds to load the first time -- it is copying the settings and documentation to your appdata folder. Subsequently, it'll start quickly.
See Section M of the in-game manual for details on changing settings and using macros. In particular, I recommend creating a macro to bind the B button to the N key, and the A button to the B (keyboard) key. This will make using the buttons for diagonal movement more intuitive. The ?~ command also has information on macros and keymaps.
0.8 is incompatible with saves from previous versions, so finish any ongoing games before upgrading. You can copy your save, morgue, and setting folders from any previous version (including non-Pandora versions) into the stone_soup appdata folder to retain your high scores, bones, and dumps. |
