Strange screenshot there... The tool is not very necessary though, copying a skin to the skin folder is like 6 or 7 clicks. (I leave it to nmn to count and correct me here) :p Maybe for the VERY lazy. |

Your wrong :) it takes 1 joystick movement and then 1 click, another click a few joystick movements, usually 2 clicks (skins are often put in sub folders but when people extract them, they extract them to another sub folder because most extractors default to doing so), around 7 joystick movements and a click. Its somewhere between 5-6 for most skins. And the screenshot error: Its because that the "No screenshot" image is not on top of the list anymore. And people, like me, are very lazy to locate it. call it aaa-noscreenshot.png or the likes and maybe you wouldn't have this problem, but you never know what they're gonna call programs these days. This is a script, highly alike the ones already included with skins. So technically tinman, it should take the same amount of clicking... An odd way to think of it, though, considering you would need to use your computer to delete the old script and place yours. (Yep. I'm in a good mood, not that i care whether or not your going to take stabs like that. How immature...) |

Why don't you move the GPS instead of copy them? (I think that when we install a skin, we remove the gps from the SD after so...)
It could be something like this:
#/bin/sh
mkdir /mnt/nand/skin 2> /dev/null
cd /mnt/sd > skin_install.log
mv -f ./*.gps /mnt/nand/skin >> skin_install.log
cd /usr/gp2x
./gp2xmenu
(so, we could look at the log if there are problems) |

Lol, awesome reply :) (immature smiley here)
