My GP2X don't start with this kernel...
The screen lock on the green presentation... |
Worked fine for me after I dug up more details. For great information and the Windows XP host driver, see https://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/WindowsXpUsbNetworkHowTo
Edit the script on the GP2X to have the following values:
export IP="192.168.0.202"
export GATEWAY="192.168.0.200"
Now follow the tutorial on that site and you should be able to connect. |
Using the guide I mentioned, I can connect via samba and browse my GP2X. I can also telnet to the GP2X.
What I cant seem to do is ping anything other than 192.168.0.200 (my PC) from my GP2X. Has anyone been able to get a connection out to an arbitrary site, and if so, how? I've turned on connection sharing but it doesn't seem to work...? |
Sorry for the multiple posts, but I figured out connection sharing. To get it to work properly, use export IP="192.168.0.2" and GATEWAY="192.168.0.1" Then turn on connection sharing for your main internet connection on the PC, and choose your GP2X connection as the client. Using these values, I can ping www.google.com, so the DNS is even working. |

Just Great, open a lot of possibilities on GP2x |

I just tried it and got a blank screen after running USBNET on. Upgraded my kernel, ran usbnet_install, changed around usbnet_on, all of the files were in the root of my gp2x. Wonder what the problem may be. |
