"Mad Bomber" is a clone of Activision's classic Atari 2600 console game, "Kaboom!",by Larry Kaplan with spruced-up graphics and sound effects, and music.
The Mad Bomber is loose in the city and he's dropping bombs everywhere!
It's your job to catch them before they hit the ground and explode.
Luckily, you have a set of trusty buckets to extinguish the bombs with.
This is my first port so go easy on me :P. |

If this is some first attempt at 2X programming as you imply, then why not do the decent thing and keep it on your HD. I mean cheers, thanks for sharing it, how do you honestly think we feel when we download and play this? Excited that you're putting hot titles out? Maybe overjoyed at the strength of talent uniting our wavering ranks perhaps?
Or just saddened that people are posting pretty peculiar photoshopped pictures of GP2Xs on the archive for no apparent reason and another odd clique of people (you're in this one) are posting my-first-code. Thank you very much for publically popping your 2X 'coding cherry' like this but what do I do know? I feel like drowning my sorrows to be honest. |

| Not bad, couple of points. You can get rid of the cursor with SDL_ShowCursor (SDL_DISABLE) and it would be worth changing the messages to "press B" and "press L" |

I can assure you that alot of work has been put into porting and making this game, i have not put up a game that is unplayable or just a blitted .bmp onscreen. I think saying whether you enjoyed it or not is what these comments are for(and if you feel like it say what could be improved)which i believe you didnt...
Did you actually play the game before you wrote that, or even read that its a port? Because it seems as though you were begging to find the words 'new' 'noob' 'easy'. I have found that none of
your posts have been exactly a 'duty to the community', maybe its you who should grow up and stop posting personal insults on the comments. |

| spen83 fixed a bug in my code for my new version of drumbox and also helped me better understand the SDL mixer which is critical to my project. He's a sound programmer on PS3 games now having previously worked on San Andreas for Rockstar :) |
