Squaresliding is a strategic puzzle game where you must pass over a certain number of squares on the board in order to complete a level. It also comes with an enhanced mode, where the board is peppered with all kinds of fun bonus items that will greatly affect play.

- fixed graphical stutter after getting a hiscore
- erasing hiscores only erases the current mode's hiscores

This is a very playable game. The graphics, music, sfx and interface are first class.

I've played it up to L13 and only just realised it's possible to move diagonally :p (and I read the instructions). This makes a big difference because then it becomes possible to move diagonally over your own diagonal trail.

A difficulty setting would be nice because personally I'd like the games to be briefer.

Full marks for using B to accept, X to go back, having a volume bar, starting the volume low and accessing the main menu with Start.

This is a nice game and well executed. It doesn't play so well on a Mark 1 GP2x though because the diagonal bias in the joystick means you often go in a diagonal direction instead of the one you wanted. I find the GP2x joystick is only a pain with games where the stick is the only control, like this game and Pac Man.

You can use the action buttons instead of the joypad to move, that should take care of the MK1's diagonal bias.
